Wild Rose Women’s Retreat

Banff, Alberta, Canada

On the cusp of the Autumn Equinox – when day and night stand in perfect balance – you are invited into a sacred gathering of women during the final golden days of summer, September 17-21, 2026.

Native to the land of Alberta, Canada the wild rose blooms with quiet wisdom. She is rooted through long winters, shaped by the elements, soft-petaled and thorn-strong. It mirrors the Libran teaching of harmony: beauty with boundaries, strength with grace, openness held by discernment. The rose reminds us that balance is not stillness, but a living relationship between the heart and the world.

Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the Wild Rose Women’s Retreat is an intimate, soul-nourishing experience guided by Dana Chaisson and Kim Baker of Sacred Being Retreats. This journey weaves together astrology, ceremony, nature immersion, and restorative practices – creating space to pause, recalibrate, and return to the wisdom of the heart as the seasons shift.

As summer softens into autumn, we gather to honor the sacred midpoint. This is a time to restore equilibrium, and remember the art of receiving as much as giving. Like the wild rose, this retreat invites you to bloom in your own rhythm, rooted in balance, beauty, and self-trust.

Group size is intentionally limited to 8–10 women to preserve depth, presence, and heart-centered connection.

All offerings are optional, honoring your body, intuition, and inner knowing throughout the retreat.

Retreat Offerings & Experiences

🌹 Astrology & Libra Season Alignment

As we approach the Autumn Equinox, Libra energy invites us into balance, harmony, and heart-centered living. Through guided discussions and reflective practices, we will explore Libra themes such as love, beauty, pleasure, justice, and the sacred dance between masculine and feminine energy. This offering supports recalibration – both internally and within relationships – while honoring the energetic transition from outward summer expression to inward autumn wisdom.

🌹 Sound Bath Journey with Acupuncture

Experience a deeply restorative sound journey enhanced with acupuncture points designed to support the nervous system, energetic flow, and emotional release. Crystal bowls, subtle frequencies, and intentional silence invite the body into profound relaxation while encouraging energetic alignment and integration.

🌹 Moderate Hiking & Nature Immersion

The Canadian Rockies offer an unparalleled invitation into wild beauty. Our guided hikes are moderate and accessible, allowing time for presence, breath, and reverence for the land. Nature immersion supports grounding, perspective, and connection – reminding us of our place within the greater web of life.

🌹 Fire & Roses Ceremony at Cascade Ponds

Held beside still waters and surrounded by mountain peaks, this ceremonial offering invites transformation through fire, intention, and devotion. Roses symbolize both beauty and resilience, while fire offers release and renewal. Participants are guided through a ritual honoring what is ready to be released and what is ready to bloom.

🌹 Banff Gondola Ride to Sulphur Mountain

Soar above Banff on a scenic gondola ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. This experience offers expansive views of the Rockies and a powerful energetic shift – symbolizing perspective, elevation, and the ability to see life from a broader, wiser vantage point.

🌹 Mini Spa Scrub Experience

A nurturing, sensory offering designed to soften the body and awaken the skin. This mini spa ritual includes a natural exfoliating scrub, inviting renewal, circulation, and embodiment – an honoring of the physical body as sacred vessel.

🌹 Lake Louise & Glacier Water Ritual

Witness the iconic beauty of Lake Louise and participate in a ceremonial interaction with glacier-fed waters. This ritual honors the ancient intelligence of water – supporting emotional clarity, remembrance, and blessing. A moment of reverence with one of nature’s most pristine elements.

🌹 Hot Springs Soak

Soak in mineral-rich hot springs surrounded by mountain air and sky. This offering supports muscular relaxation, nervous system restoration, and integration of the retreat experience. A time to soften, receive, and simply be held.

🌹 Guided Meditation, Medicine Circle & Sacred Community

Throughout the retreat, participants are invited into guided meditation, sharing circles, and intentional community spaces. These moments cultivate trust, reflection, and connection – offering a container where stories are honored, wisdom is shared, and sisterhood is remembered.

Kim Baker is a women’s health massage therapist and bodywork practitioner with nearly 30 years of experience supporting healing through the body. Her work centers on Mayan abdominal massage, a sacred practice that addresses trauma, fertility challenges, menstrual and menopausal transitions, digestive health, autoimmune conditions, and the release of stagnant energy held within the abdominal and pelvic space. Kim often weaves this work with yoni steam practices, offering deeply restorative and womb-centered care.

Since 2019, Kim has expanded her work into the retreat space, guiding transformative experiences in nature-rich locations including Sedona and Carefree, Arizona; Taos, New Mexico; Isla Mujeres, Mexico; and Kauai, Hawaii. These retreats are intentionally designed to reconnect participants with the grounding wisdom of the land, the elements, and their own embodied knowing.

Rooted in collaboration and inclusivity, Kim curates retreats alongside skilled facilitators and assistants, creating supportive containers for healing and growth. In alignment with her commitment to accessible healing, she founded the nonprofit A Retreat for Sacred Being, which provides scholarship opportunities for those seeking transformative retreat experiences.

Kim’s work reflects a deep devotion to wellness, empowerment, and the remembrance of our sacred connection to self, body, and nature.
